“Maelstrom” is an RTS game developed by KDV Games in close collaboration with the British video game publisher Codemasters. "Maelstrom" is set in a post-apocalyptic future, following an ecological disaster that resulted in much of the planet being submerged under water and which led to the subsequent nuclear conflict over the remaining resources. The game features three fractions with different warfare tactics: transforming robots, draining or flooding landscapes, mutations, outer space attacks and unique hero units. The game has been built using the Vista Game Engine technology.
