Russian game developing companyK-D LAB makes the list of finalists for Develop Industry Excellence Award 2004.

The first ever Real Terraforming Strategy Perimeter is nominated in the category New PC IP, together with great projects like Far Cry (Cry Tek), Painkiller (People Can Fly), Singles: Flirt up your life (Robotee Realtime 3D GmbH) and XIII (UbiSoft).

Furthermore, K-D LAB is also nominated in the Innovation category. Following companies are also nominated: Sony Computer Entertainment (EyeToy), UbiSoft (XIII), Eurocom (Athens 2004) and Nadeo (Trackmania).

K-D LAB company was founded in 1995 and is one of the leading Russian game developers. The company is famous for its bold and original projects ("Vangers. One for the road.", "Spanking Runners"). But K-D LAB is also noted for winning at several international original games contests (Enix'97, Enix'98, GDC IGF, KRI).
