2005 is already around the corner, and it's time for the Best of 2004 Awards in the gaming industry. Today the IGN.com editors revealed what they thought were the best of the best this year. Our RTS project "Perimeter" received an award in the "Most Innovative Design" category. "It was an amazing use of the technology to improve gameplay and provide a completely new experience for fans of a genre that can sometimes feel a bit stale." Runners-Up in this category are: "Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow's Multiplayer" and "Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates".
Perimeter also made it to the GameSpot's Best and Worst of 2004 final, where the game is nominated in the "Most Innovative Game" category. Other titles in this category are: "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay", "Feel the Magic: XY/XX", "Full Spectrum Warrior" and "Katamari Damacy". GameSpot will start handing out medals to the winners of the Special Achievement Awards tomorrow, so wish us luck! |
