Vanger starts to see the Larvae on the map when his/her Dominance reaches 50.
Capital escaves in the worlds are different from not-so-capital ones in that they have mechos on sale in the stores.
Cirt is soil with a scent of a Larva. The creatures in escaves need only their specific cirt, the cirt from a Larva that belongs to their world. The Larvae are colored on the map according to the world they belong to; e.g. a Fostral Larva is colored green, a Glorx Larva is red, and a Necross one is blue. To pick up cirt and deliver it to an escave, you need a cirtainer. Cirt must be delivered only to capital escaves. You can have a stroke of luck and come across a filled cirtainer and pick it up, or you can grab it from another vanger, but then you can't be sure what Larva the cirt belongs to. When you see the right Larva, come up as close as possible and fill your cirtainer. To do it, open the bay and click right mouse button on the cirtainer. The second click will empty the cirtainer.
Conlarver, a device for capturing Larvae, can be obtained after delivering 16 portions of cirt to an escave. When you bring cirt to an escave, the counselor tells you how many portions you have brought. When the count reaches 16, you'll see a conlarver in the store.
Tabutasks first appear in an escave after you deliver an item two times that is needed in that escave. After that, tabutasks may appear from time to time.
The key to Glorx is given when you:
- Gain enough points in the ritual race on Fostral, the Eleerection. Points are given when you finish among the first two. The first gets 100 points, the second - 50 points.
- Save up 50,000 beebs.
The key to Weexow is given when you:
- Complete 10 tabutasks on Fostral (sum from both escaves).
- Bring a Larva to Podish.
- Bring 80 portions of cirt.
Tabutasks
First, you should take tabutasks (the counselors' missions) in the beginning of a cycle. That's because if you take a tabutask that must be completed before the end of the current cycle and the cycle changes, say, 5 seconds after you come out to the surface, the tabutask is considered failed. A good idea is to buy tabutasks right after a cycle change to avoid this risk.
Second, there's no "Tabutask: Impossible". Sometimes it just takes some work of the brain.
Third, by buying a tabutask you take an irrevocable (and indelible :)) obligation and you get rid of it only when you complete or fail the mission. Thus, if you bought a tabutask and then decided you don't want to fulfill the mission, don't rush to sell it back or throw it away. Once you've bought it, you have to fulfill it--it's one of a few things the arrogant Eleepods invented to control Vangers. Later, all escaves borrowed this idea. Even if you discard the tabutask, it will be there, waiting for you to complete it. If you do fulfill the mission later, no matter how far you are from the dropped tabutask, it becomes completed and can then be picked up and sold back to the escave. If you sell the tabutask before completing its mission, you still have to complete it--that's the law of the Chain of Worlds.
To gain some Luck, you have to:
- Dig up the Leepuringa.
- Complete a 'tough' tabutask with Luck rating of 15 or more.
- Win the Eleerection many times. Luck points awarded to you depends on how many competitors were in the race, so don't rush to win the Eleerection if you are the only participant--you won't get any Luck for it. The number of competitors and your position are shown during the race in the lower-left corner of the screen.
The fastest and easiest way to get a tough Mechos is to peek into all hideouts after stealing the Leepuringa. Go and visit all the hideouts that open when your Luck is 50 or higher (on Fostral they are such oval domed structures). There you are likely to find special weapons: Incarnators, Degradators and Amputators. You need Incarnators. They allow to change Mechos like gloves--a cool weapon, huh? And how does the whole thing work, you ask? It works this way. Just when you pilfered the Leepuringa, they send a killer for you. This guy rides the big fat Heavy Lady with lots of shooting iron and devices. The killer usually dashes forward without looking around so you just drop an Incarnator and when the Lady picks it up, you'll find yourself in its cockpit shooting the once-tough cutthroat now sitting and trembling in your shabby rattletrap.
If you, for some reason, don't want to deal with killers, Incarnators or the whole thing just doesn't sound like fun to you, you can lift the Leepuringa and then just check all hideouts that you know. All hideouts are now open (of course, if your total Luck is 50 or more), and, with your now ample Luck, you'll find more stuff there and it will be cooler. Note that this last rule is true not only when you steal the Leepuringa, but also whenever your Luck is high enough, no matter what you've done to increase it. To put it in another way, the greater your Luck is, the luckier you are when you peek into hideouts. :)
